December, 2025: These investments help expand access to STEM and career‑focused learning, ensuring students have the tools and opportunities to thrive both in the classroom and in the workforce of tomorrow.

  • Taft ISD

    $100,000 for STEM and Robotics programs.

  • Gregory‑Portland ISD

    $100,000 for STEM & Robotics and $100,000 for CTE programming.

  • Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi

     $75,000 for STEM outreach initiatives.

    December, 2025:Our amazing female engineers stepped onto the runway at the This One's for the Gals Women in Industry Fashion Show.
    • Second Annual Benefishing Fishing Tournament

      November, 2025: Thanks to the incredible support from our participants and sponsors, we raised critical funds for United Way of the Coastal Bend.

    • CAST for Kids Foundation

      October, 2025: We teamed up with CAST for Kids Foundation, who aim to enrich the lives of children with special needs through fishing.

    • Coastal Conservation Association - Corpus Christi

      October, 2025: We sponsored and participated in Babes on Baffin, supporting CCA Texas - Corpus Christi.

      Associated Builders and Contractors - Coastal Bend Chamber
      October, 2025: GCGV President & Site Manager Paul Fritsch shared remarks at Associated Builders and Contractors - Coastal Bend Chamber, emphasizing the importance of safety and outlining how a people-first approach combined with leadership is the key to sending people home the way they came to work. We were also honored to accept a Workforce Development Award from Craft Training Center of the Coastal Bend. 
      • G-PISD's annual WIN Fair

        August, 2025: We handed out crayons, folders, and composition notebooks at G-PISD's annual "What I Need" or WIN Fair, designed to make sure students have access to the supplies they need to start a new school year. 

      • Driscoll Children's Hospital

        June, 2025: We are proud to announce a recent $50,000 contribution to Driscoll Children's Hospital to support their camp programs.

      • Heroes on the Water Coastal Bend Texas Chapter

        June, 2025: Volunteers from GCGV's Sustainability Committee and Veteran Advocacy and Support Team (VAST) enjoyed a rewarding day with Heroes on the Water Coastal Bend Texas Chapter.

        Texas Chemistry Council's annual awards

        June, 2025: We attended Texas Chemistry Council's annual awards and brought home honors for the whole team! Awards include: 2025 Caring for Texas Award, 2025 Sam Mannan Award for Zero Process Safety Incidents, 2025 Zero Incident Rate Award, 2025 Distinguished Safety Service Award, Mary Kay O'Connor and 2025 Distinguished Process Safety Award

          April, 2025: Our Sustainability team is collecting used flame-retardant clothing to be recycled into new fashion pieces by non-profit design house Magpies and Peacocks!

        • OCS Blue Verified

          April, 2025: We are OCS Blue Verified! Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) is dedicated to preventing plastic pellet, flake and power loss in the environment.

        • This One's for the Gals

          March, 2025: We collaborated with This One's for the Gals to take students from our nearby ISDs to learn about our site and one of our two joint venture partners, ExxonMobil. They heard from a panel of engineers and got to tour the campus before heading to the POWER women in industry conference in Galveston!

          February, 2025: The culmination of years of innovation and collaboration by our team and the team at Lightsource bp, Peacock Solar helps us reduce our site emissions.
          Corpus Christi Symphony's Pat Furley Education Concert Series
          February, 2025: We were honored to sponsor the Corpus Christi Symphony's Pat Furley Education Concert Series. We were treated to a concert featuring everyone's favorite super heroes, along with more than 2,000 elementary and middle school students from the Coastal Bend.

            February, 2025: We joined Gregory-Portland Education Foundation in celebrating educators having a huge impact on students in our local community. 

          • Gregory-Portland Independent School District

            January, 2025: Our team came together to collect and donate new school supplies to Gregory-Portland Independent School District students. This year our Engineering team won our contest of collecting the most!

          • United Way of the Coastal Bend

            December, 2024: We ended a record-breaking United Way campaign with a fantastic fishing tournament, raising more than $50,000 to add to our campaign total!
