President and Site Manager of Gulf Coast Growth Ventures

“It has been a privilege to be part of Gulf Coast Growth Ventures’ progress since I came to the facility in 2019, during the early days of construction. From the beginning, GCGV was built with tomorrow in mind — modern, safe and responsible. Now in our fourth year of operations, our employees strive daily to run a safer, more efficient and more community-minded facility than we did yesterday.

Aligned with our Good Neighbor Program pillars, we invest in programs and initiatives that uphold Environmental Stewardship, enhance Quality of Life, protect Health & Safety and empower Education and Workforce Development for the overall betterment of the region. In 2024, we continued to advance our priority of operating a safe, world-scale facility making products that enhance quality of life around the world.

We collaborated with partners and leveraged our resources to develop solutions to challenges we are facing in the Coastal Bend. Together, we expanded access to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education, removed barriers to education by investing in scholarships and internship programs, launched initiatives to advance environmental stewardship and resource conservation, and leveraged expertise to improve regional emergency response coordination.

I am proud to say that GCGV team members are truly integrated in the Coastal Bend community. Whether they are volunteering at nonprofits, advising and mentoring students at local high schools, community colleges and trade schools, or spearheading environmental initiatives — you do not have to look far to find a member of our outstanding team.

We live, work and play here, and we want our facility to be the best neighbor in our community. We value the ongoing dialogue and collaboration with our neighbors, local officials, community organizations, and nearby industries, and we thank you for being part of our journey.

I am pleased to share with you our 2024 Sustainability Report, recapping the progress and collaboration that shaped a successful year at GCGV. We look forward to working with our community to drive progress and prosperity in the Coastal Bend.
