Meet GCGV’s new President and Site Manager Ed Caputo

A native of Long Island, New York, Ed received his Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2002. His 20+ year career with ExxonMobil includes leadership roles across both manufacturing and the corporate business.

After holding various technical and operations roles at ExxonMobil in Baton Rouge, Ed was transferred to its headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia where he served as the North Americas Refining Planning Advisor. In that role, he developed business plans with refineries across the North American circuit.

In 2015, Ed relocated to Beaumont, Texas where he served in manufacturing leadership roles at ExxonMobil’s Beaumont complex. Ed returned to ExxonMobil’s headquarters in 2021, as the Global Energy Products Reporting Manager to provide financial, technical and operations reporting for Management Committee Briefings.
