A letter from former GCGV President and Site Manager

2025 was another year of safe operating milestones, key project wins, and meaningful collaboration with the community across our Good Neighbor Pillars.

Over the past year, we have launched new programs like the Coastal Solutions Symposium with the Harte Research Institute for Gulf Studies. We’ve expanded our collaboration with the Craft Training Center to offer free summer leadership camps to introduce middle and high school students to careers in skilled trades. We have supported numerous STEM education initiatives across local school districts like Gregory-Portland ISD and Taft ISD, as well as supporting both Del Mar College and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

We have also focused on people both inside and outside of our plant. Through collaborating on emergency response initiatives to help protect the public to holding a record-breaking United Way campaign supporting local agencies across the Coastal Bend, our workforce continues to find ways to support the cities in which we live.

Moving forward under the new leadership of incoming President & Site Manager Ed Caputo, GCGV’s focus will remain on the safety and health of our team members and the community, environmental stewardship, education and workforce development, and quality of life. It has been a privilege to be a part of the Coastal Bend community.
